Originally from the East Coast, the East Bay of San Francisco has been my home since 2018. The balmy breezes and radiant community have sustained me through many difficult and joyous transitions. I am looking forward to making new connections with you through my private practice therapy offerings.

Therapeutic interests
I provide individual and family therapy to teenagers and adults looking for support through life transitions, including:
-
Identity exploration, affirmation and witnessing
-
Support with grief and loss
-
Changing family structure (divorce, separation, custody, etc.)
-
Surviving abuse/trauma/hardship
-
Growing confidence in yourself and your relationships
-
Healing from internalized narratives of oppression
-
Building nourishing and loving community
-
Navigating new opportunities and responsibilities (i.e. adolescence & emerging adulthood, caretaking/parenting, employment)
I received a Master’s in Social Work from the Smith College School for Social Work and am practicing as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) #123489 in California. I completed a year-long intensive in narrative therapy with the Evanston Family Therapy Center. Additionally, I have completed a 40-hour domestic violence advocate training. These are some avenues by which I have continued learning in the areas of survival, solidarity, and interconnectedness.

I live in Oakland with my cat, Saffron. She’ll often join us during video calls.
Experience
I have eight years of experience in therapy, counseling, and community-building. I’ve worked in community mental health, domestic violence counseling, and school-based clinics with diverse populations:
-
Teenagers, young adults, parents, caregivers, middle adults, and elders
-
Queer and gender expansive folks
-
Grievers of death-loss
-
Survivors of intimate partner violence, child abuse, sexualized violence, and violent crime
I find community with people and groups who are any combination of the following: progressive, Jewish, queer, artistic, open-hearted. People who know me well describe me as genuine, grounded, and goofy. They also note my courage and willingness to speak up for what I value. I agree with these people, generally.
